The Murri School is an Independent Community School for Prep to Year 12 students. At the Murri School, we believe that culture and community are central to the academic and social development of our students. We have been recognised as a leader in education in our community since 1986. We are proud of our school’s achievements and its connection to the community, history, culture, and country. We celebrate our nurturing community which includes staff, students, families, and the local community. We value the relationships and partnerships we have developed that have helped us to support our children in achieving their potential. Our vision to foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes empowerment, identity, and success through education. This requires a dynamic school model which encompasses a strong culture focused on high expectations and developing the next generation of caring, independent, and skilled people who are culturally, morally, and socially responsible; employable, and capable of self-fulfillment and of contributing to our community. The school provides many opportunities for our students to work together to build a school where they can succeed and feel empowered by being leaders of their own learning journey. We as a school we work hard to provide opportunities for all our students to participate in activities and programs that develop their cultural, personal, academic, sporting, and creative selves whilst building strong connections to community along the way. |
