Young Men & Young Women Groups

At The Murri School we have a range of activities to promote cultural pride, personal development, community engagement, and holistic wellbeing among our Young Men and Women.

The Young Men & Young Women Groups is a program just for Year 7 to Year 12. These groups provide support and guidance for students through cultural protocols and practices, Underpinning principles such as Respect, Cultural Awareness and Leadership qualities are practised and voiced within the group with cultural practises being utilised through the group.

The Staff and Students involved are continually coming up with fundraising strategies such as the monthly Bunnings Sausage Sizzle and the Big BBQ Breakfast at School, these efforts help keep the programs going.
