Welcome to The Murri School
This school is a special place created for our people by our people! I have been a member of the Murri School Community for over 25 Years and have seen this small community school face many challenges and have seen this school community grow in strength each year.
At the Murri School, we believe that culture and community are central to the academic and social development of our students and have been recognised as a leader in education in our community since 1986. We are proud of our school’s achievements and its connection to the community, history, culture, and country. As a team we have continued to develop programs and source staff that assist our diverse learning community and work with each other to ensure our students have the skills and capabilities to succeed in and beyond school.
We continue to strive to always use best practice models which we will adapt to suit our environment to create a dynamic school model which encompasses a strong culture focused on high expectations and developing the next generation of caring, independent, and skilled people who are culturally, morally, and socially responsible, in a safe and challenging environment that allows students to achieve to their academic, leadership and social potential.
