Enrolments at The Murri School
Enrolments are conducted throughout the school year, during the last term we have an open day for parent wanting to come in and visit.
To get Enrolment Application you can use the PDF provided on the left, or you can come in and collect from the school office.
how to enrol your child

Enrolment Pack
To access the Enrolment Application you can press the green button above which will take you to a fillable PDF or you can visit the administration office to collect an Enrolment pack.

Prepare Required
Documents
You will need to provide the following:
- Child's Birth Certificate
- Medicare Card
- Previous School Report
- Any Documentation of Medical, Behavioural or Learning Daignoses

Submit your
Forms
The school needs all forms included in the enrolment application to be completed and all supporting document to be provided before we an enrolment meeting can be scheduled.

The Enrolment Interview
Schedule Your Interview
To schedule your enrolment interview, just give our school office a call, depending on your child’s age, you’ll meet with either the Deputy Principal for Secondary School or the Deputy Principal for Primary School.
We’ll help you find a convenient time and date for your interview.
Prepare for your Interview
- Your Child
- Previous School Reports
- Birth Certificate
- Medicare Card
- Completed Enrolment Forms - Each Child MUST have their own Student Details Form
- Any Diagnosis Reports or Court Orders
Attending The Interview
**IMPORTANT**
The parent of carer of the child enrolling at MUST attend the interview.
The Child/Children enrolling MUST attend the interview
WHAT TO EXPECT: When attending an interview, you will meet with a Deputy Principal. Interviews lasts approximately 30 minutes per child.
Please arrive promptly, as we may need to reschedule if you are late.
If you need to change the interview time or date, don’t hesitate to call the office.
It is a legal requirement that both the child and the parent or guardian attend the meeting, or we cannot proceed.

- Bus Availability: Depending on your location and space on the bus.
- Class Size Limits: If classes are at capacity, you may be offered a spot on a waiting list
- Timing: Late year enrolment enquires may be deferd to the following year
- Previous School Enrolments: Consideration is given to the student's history at their previous school.
after the enrolment interview
After your interview, the Deputy Principal will evaluate several factors and contact your previous school. You will receive feedback within the week of the interview. If your enrolment is accepted, please allow a few additional days for the processing of fees, particularly if your child will be using the tuckshop and when receiving the school uniform
