All children are encouraged to borrow regularly from our well stocked book and non- book collection of library resources. The library features 16 computer terminals for students to complete assigned lesson work during out of class times.
Students may borrow a set number of fiction and non-fiction books according to year level. They may borrow for a maximum of 2 weeks. Library classes build an enjoyment of reading whilst improving students abilities to search for and use information whether in traditional print form or using digital technologies.
The ability to read is an important factor in success in all school subjects. As well, recreational reading can bring much joy to many children once the habit is established.
